The Wild Mare Charters Lodge on Kodiak Island, Alaska

This is a photo of our Wilderness Lodge. This lodge has served as the starting place for many Kodiak island fishing, hunting and sightseeing adventures. Here are some of details concerning the lodge and your stay with us:

$300.00 / per day / per person for fishing season. Ask about our Specials!!
Fishing: Minimum (5) hours per day (or longer) included, Salmon, Halibut, Sightseeing, etc. is included!
Fish processing will be done, together (on our beach). Guests buy their own fish boxes and we have freezer space.

Indoor bathroom and outhouse, Banya ( steam bath house for bathing).
Wood Stove & Toyo Stove heated.
All electricity: Refrigerator, Freezer, TV (dvd movies), Stereo, etc.
Propane Cook Stove with oven.
Inside of cabin (very rustic) but very clean with upper & lower decks!

There are a number of ways you can get to the Lodge at Wild Mare Charters. Your hosts can shuttle you from the airport to cabin, etc. for a small additional fee. They can pick up in Anton Larsen Bay (end of road outside of Kodiak for a small additional fee). You may also fly into Port Lions, take the M/V Tustumena (Alaska State Ferry) directly into Port Lions or be picked up in Anton Larsen Bay
